Bilal Sheriff
Bilal Sheriff is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in Haynes Boone’s Dallas office.
His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, venture capital, and other general corporate matters. During law school, Bilal externed for the General Counsel of a Texas based private equity firm, where he assisted in advising the firm’s public and private portfolio companies.
Additionally, Bilal advises clients on navigating the premerger clearance process under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act.
- Represented Trive Capital in its acquisition of an artificial intelligence defense platform and solutions company, Hypergiant Industries, Inc.
- Represented Aggreko, a global supplier of mobile and modular power temperature control equipment and energy services, in its acquisition of Resolute Industrial, a leading provider of specialized temporary heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration solutions, from AE Industrial Partners.
- Advised Beneficient, a provider of liquidity, data analytics, and custody services to holders of alternative assets, in its $3.3 billion merger with special-purpose acquisition company Avalon Acquisition Inc.
- Represented a Dallas based private equity firm in its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of a leading provider of light vehicle alloy wheel repair, remanufacturing, and wholesale services.
