New York

Situated in midtown Manhattan, Haynes and Boone’s offices are at the center of the bustling and diverse culture for which New York is known. The lawyers of Haynes and Boone’s New York office are part of the fastest-growing team in the firm’s rapidly expanding realm of corporate legal services. Although Haynes and Boone only recently established its physical presence in the nation’s financial capital, the firm has been intertwined for decades with New York through its wide-ranging association with investment banks, financial institutions, investment funds and institutional clients. Many of those links were forged to meet client needs related to energy, power, technology, aviation, project finance, Latin American and other cross-border work.

Facts and Fine Points about the New York Office

When Haynes and Boone established the New York office in 2004, it called upon two of its long time partners who were well acquainted with both the city and the firm’s culture--native New Yorkers Kenneth Bezozo and Judith Elkin.

The New York office is comprised primarily of attorneys with specialties in corporate/securities, bankruptcy/restructurings, finance and litigation.

Our Corporate/Securities Practice Group is the firm's largest practice with more than 100 lawyers. Our emphasis on corporate/securities work dates back to the very beginning of our firm when Richard Haynes and Michael Boone joined together in 1967.
